Sunshine and Mercury Rising

The day began foggy and cold, but thankfully it improved markedly. Mid morning the sun came out and the high reached 21C. Now that's more like it!

We went Thrift Store scouring and can't get over how lame it is this year. In this 'new economy' folks must be hanging on to their things. There sure is a lot of nasty junk out there at ridiculous prices. This one, Collector's Corner, is the cream of the crop. Although they have an incredible amount of lovely things, and very sensible prices, there simply wasn't anything we just had to have!

Back at home we enjoyed a late afternoon snack with a pitcher of sangria, before going for a tennis rally. With the sun out I thought I'd model my new painting hat for you. No laughing now!
