  1. Oh how lovely, Alice - those irises are magnificent, and that Midnight Magic is beyond stunning. Diamonds under pressure, indeed. I love the way Bob stands on out that background and the way Big Daddy LIVES in those trees. The butterflies are delightful as well; that monarch is filled with light. Prodigious work, my friend. xoxox

    1. Huge thanks Win. It feels good to see them finished, all lined up and ready to hit the road!

  2. These are beautiful Alice, my two favorites are: Here Today,Gone Tomorrow and Everday Magnificence. Wishing you a very successful show!

    1. Thank you for checking this post and for your praise, Laura. It's always great to hear which ones resonate with another artist. I see you chose paintings with a hot palette!

  3. So wonderful to see direct painting on top of the richly textured and interesting backgrounds. I like the style.

    1. Thanks, Eileen, I appreciate your taking a look and commenting.
I've been a serious classical painter for decades. It was time to venture forth, to step out from the traditional and marry it with mixed media - let the good times roll!

  4. Fabulous Alice! I especially like the flowers with the fascinating backgrounds - goo luck at the show.

  5. Ruffles and Frills and Everyday Magnificence are indeed magnificent!!! Well done -I love the mixed media backgrounds :)

    1. Great to hear from you, Sharon. Thanks for the compliments - and for selecting your favourites!

  6. PRETTY works. YOUR flowers are so AWESOME!
